~ You work hard to be loved, accepted, and understood by the people in your life, yet you’re left feeling exhausted, disconnected, and confused. You are feeling lost, and it feels like your life is falling apart. You often carry the weight of your friends’ and families’ emotions, yet feel unsure how to share and open up to them when you need support. The past seems to keep creeping up in your life and you’re trying everything you can to get through it and move on.
I approach therapy with humor, relatable anecdotes, and a casual environment where you can feel relaxed, comfortable, and empowered to take life’s challenges head-on. You may have gone to therapy in the past and felt that it was not a good fit because it felt too structured and you didn’t feel like you were able to truly share what was going on in your life. While my approach is led by evidence-based therapy interventions, my sessions are casual and guided by what is currently coming up for you in the room. Most importantly, I am here to be a safe, validating, and comfortable place for you to feel your feelings and explore your vulnerability. I value transparency and open conversations about what is working for you and what is not working for you as we move through therapy together. ~
